How do I create a custom character?

You can design your own character — appearance, style, personality, and how your story together starts.

Creating a character

1. Select Create on hisugar.ai.
2. Follow the steps: choose appearance (style, hair, eyes, body), personality, and role.
3. Review and confirm — your character is generated and ready to chat.

How many you can create

• Free accounts: 1 character
• Premium: up to 5 characters

If you are on a free account and have already used your character, you'll be asked to upgrade near the end of the flow. Your selections are kept while you complete the upgrade.

If character creation fails

• Complete the flow in one sitting — leaving mid-way can lose your in-progress character.
• If the final step doesn't respond, refresh the page and try again; your subscription status will be refreshed with it.
• Some appearance or personality combinations cannot be generated because of our content policies (see our Blocked Content Policy). If creation is declined repeatedly, adjust your choices and try again.
• If creation repeatedly fails after payment, email support@hisugar.ai with the subject "Character creation issue" and your account email — we will check your account and restore access.
